Guimaras Adventure

The mango capital of the Philippines, visited in one day. Here are some of the photos.

At Jordan Wharf. The entry point to Guimaras from Ortiz Wharf in Iloilo. Port under rehabilitation but nevertheless, Guimaras is amazing. Bringing in of mango seedlings from other provinces is prohibited.

Guimaras' finest product, mangoes. Ranging from P70 - 80 per kilo. A bit expensive compared to other mangoes available in the market, but the taste, 'masarap at matamis.'

Beautiful rock formation along the coastline of Guimaras. Be ready to be amazed as you take a three-hour island hopping tour.

Giant milkfish sanctuary.

Marine sanctuary. Different fish are fed and cultivated for research and export.

Guisi Light House. One of the oldest light house in Guimaras.

Other products available in Guimaras.

Guimaras has a lot to offer. A day isn't enough to experience this small but magnificent province.

City of Smiles

Makalipas ang ilang buwan ng pagtratrabaho, panahon naman muna para huminto, mag-enjoy, maglibang at mamasyal.

Maligayang pagdating, Bacolod.

First Year Death Anniversary

Last January 5, 2011, we celebrated my aunt's first year death anniversary. I don't know if it's proper to say that we celebrated it but anyway, one of my aunt's friends who came all the way from abroad invited us for dinner. We enjoyed a sumptuous meal at Emerald Garden in Roxas Blvd. We had a hard time looking for the place because we thought it's near Malate Church, but it's not. It's actually near the US Embassy. The place wasn't that appealling but the food, great, but not all. I enjoyed the crab and the chicken so much.

Here are some of the photos:

Pansit with Quail Eggs

Hmmm....

Alimango, yum yum...

Chicken...

Patatim yata ito...

Salad... It's nestle cream on top, not mayo...

Lapu-lapu yata ito...

Their version of chop suey...

Dessert na...

Gabi yata ito or kamote na hindi masarap...

I quit but I'll start a new one...

So I quit my job. I decided to stop joining exhibits but I can still continue merchandising our products to people who might be interested. Thank God, I got hired in Security Bank. Didn't expect I'll be hired, but through prayers, I made it.

So, new journey to take on Wednesday. Good luck to me...

Spectacle of Lights and Music

Just want to share some of the photos I took last Friday at Ayala Triangle. It's really Christmas.

Enjoy...

KFC Double Down Sandwich

I just tried the Double Down Sandwich today. Tastes just fine. Kapag inulit-ulit, nakakaumay siguro kasi masyadong oily yung chicken, plus may bacon pa. Medyo bitin kasi hindi naman ganun kalakihan. Mahal, kasi P100 na. Sa una, hindi nakakahiyang, pero baka next time, I won't buy it anymore. I 'll just buy chicken with rice na lang siguro para mas sulit at para mabusog.

Reminder: Don't eat it ng mainit na mainit pa kasi you won't enjoy it.

Pilipinas, Kay Ganda

You might have seen this in the news. What's wrong with Pilipinas, Kay Ganda?

I actually like it. I don't think na wala itong dating like what others are saying. Kung ako ang taga-ibang bansa na makakarinig nito, I'll be intrigued. Ano bang ibig sabihin ng Kay Ganda? But I don't need to worry. May translation naman. Kung napa Wow tayo sa Philippines dati, now, we can really say na Kay Ganda talaga ng Pilipinas. Why don't we add 'nga'? Pilipinas, Kay Ganda Nga. Mas mukha bang may dating? Hehehe.

Foreigners who will come here will not just appreciate the beauty of our country but they will also learn our language, aside from the most common na 'Mahal Ko Kayo.' Isn't it nice? Instead of saying "Mahal Ko Kayo', Pilipinas, Kay Ganda na lang ang maririnig natin. Prinopromote pa nila ang bansa natin. Amazing!!!

KFC Double Down Sandwich

It's really here. The New KFC Double Down Sandwich. Looks yummy and delicious. Have you tried this already?

I haven't tried it yet, but I will...
